My sculptures consist of 99% found metal. I'm no hippie but I reuse and recycle!
The metal comes from the greater Jackson, Mississippi area, farms across central Mississippi, along roads and beyond dead ends, parking lots, from Jackson's Greymont Street gravel cut-thru where the railroad was removed, Stephanie Dwyer and Lyle Wynn's metal scraps, the Annandale Golf Course maintenance refuse bin, the Culley animal farm, Greg Harkin's workshops, the Susie B. Law Farm in Washington County, all metal refuse, used, abandoned, salvaged and brought in by contractors and other random people from locations across Mississippi and welded into new creations.
Books - Literary Fiction Novels. I have two novels available and two more in the editing and writing process. Look for The Folly to be available thru me in the spring of 2015.
My paintings are oil or acrylic; land, desert and seascapes; abstracts and various self-styled techniques: square brush stroke, plus brush stroke, triangling, and scraping methods portraying various subject matter.
