Harry Marshall Day was born in the old Baptist Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi on November 4th, 1969. He is the 11th generation of the American Day family dating back to 1640 in Gloucester, Massachusetts. His grandfather Harold Ralph Day, from Royalston, Massachusetts, married an eastern Texas stage and radio actress, Norma Davis, and they had one son, Ralph Davis Day. Ralph Day was born in Texarkana, Arkansas, but they lived their first 6 years in London England in the 1930's. Harold Day died of heart complications suffered from a World War 1 chest shrapnel injury, in 1938. Ralph Day and Norma moved back to Texarkana, Arkansas.
Ralph Day graduated high school and moved to New Orleans and finished trade school and worked for Pendelton Detective Agency before moving to Jackson, Mississippi in the early 1960's to open a Pendelton Branch. The business did not work out but with some minor private backing, Ralph started Day Detectives, which in turn, lasted 40 years successfully. Ralph Day met Georgia Lee Lovelace, a north Mississippi farm girl with a college degree from Mississippi State, in Jackson and they were married in 1966. They had their only child in 1969.
Anthony Day migrated to America from Ipswich, England around 1640. The direct Day American ancestors were named, in order, Anthony Day, Samuel Day, Mordecah Day, Mordecah Day Jr., Uri Day, Uri Day Jr., Nathan Day, Willard Eugene Day, Harold Ralph Day, Ralph Davis Day (father), Harry Marshall Day, and the newest Ethan Clark Day.
Harry Day is married to Kristie Ann Clark and they have a daughter, Summer Lovelace, and a son, Ethan CLark. They currently reside in Madison, Mississippi.
