Deer Mount - a commissioned piece for a lawyer/muscian in Amory, MS. The horns are made from a hunting seat frame, the head is based on the turn axle from a little red wagon.
The Trumpeteer stands over 5 feet tall and was sold to a doctor in New York City. The trumpet is made from bike parts. The hair is chain. The body is welded metal found from the Mississippi Delta, the Indian Hills and the Jackson tri-county area including farms, shops, roadsides and railroads. More than 50 people took their photo with The Trumpeteer at the 2007 Jubilee Jam Art Village.
